Patchwork Blanket

Did I forget to show you this one? Really? How could I...

I made this fluffy, cosy patchwork blanket (I didn't quilt it to keep it fluffy and warm)for my son's 6th birthday this spring. I cut all kinds of Japanese fabrics with little children's prints and joined them by the yellow gingham (his favorite colour).

It all came together quite well I think and there's lots of animals and little critters to look at...still a little warm tough in summer but I hope it'll be used lots and lots of times over the coming winters and years...

I am sure your son will love this till it falls to pieces. That is what my children do. It represents your love for them.

Leuk zo'n vierkant patroon voor een jongen, heel stoer! En door het geel en de printjes toch heel lief, mooi gemaakt hoor!
