Just a little note to let of all your dear readers know that all is well here...Just trying to enjoy most of this special time of year: advent. Thanx so much for all your sweet comments...keep them coming! I read every single one and always try to visit your blog to take a little peak in your lives.

I also want to thank you for the all the awards coming my way! Actually there were that many that I decided not to post them anymore. But I would love to include your blog in the sidebars ' daily list of inspiration'. I also changed my banner to give the blog a more christmassy-wintery appearance... hope you like it! And last but not least... Cold and dark days

It's november....the wind blows around the house...it's cold, it's dark and time to make it cosy inside the house.

So that's what I'm doing lately...making it cosy around here..and warm with blankets and candles.... cooking diners and keeping the house tidy...reading bedtime stories and loving those around me.... There's so much to love about these cold and darks days!

Starting...

The title of this post was quite an understatement...
I'm in need of some extra time overhere... So I didn't (don't) blog, didn't take much pictures and unfortunately had to cancel this market...
I hope you'll hanging out there doing fine...so are we.



I just need something to get me started overhere and I thougt this magazine might help (and of course it's just too good to resist buying). Now I'm off for a cup of tea. It'll be a good day overhere, I hope yours is too!

After some very well spent holiday I'm trying to get back to normal...

I must say though that after two weeks spent at the beach in lovely warm weather....

30 days of Happiness: day 30

These last 30 days were certainly happy ones.... It was so good to find happiness and beauty in small everyday things whilst running around with kids, housework and all other things that can keep a woman busy. It certainly was a month of counting my blessings (and there are many) and reflecting on the life we live and how we live it. It was just like a little reminder in the back of my head that made me give the children an extra kiss saying goodbye at school or putting some candles on at the dinner table, or an extra cup of coffee enjoyed in the late summer sun...

These 30 days not only did me make more aware of the happiness and beauty that is around us but also made me want to make more of it. To forget about the dirty floor and read an extra story to the children because that floor can wait.... wow, I can ramble on and on but I never could say it better than Erin so thank a big thank you to her! It was such a good journey.

And now for the fun part : I want to share a little happiness with you all! Because I promised it a loong time ago, because of all this happiness going on here and because it was my birthday.... and just because I'm so proud and happy that I made my first ever clip purse and I love it!! eerst even een felicitatie met je rpachtige inspirerende 30 days of happiness! heerlijk doet een mens goed!
mij maakte vandaag blij dat mijn drie meiden met z'n drietjes lekker zaten te knutselen en samen liedjes zingen tijdens het knip en plakwerk, muziekje aan lekker makkelijke kleding aan en knutselen maar! heerlijk was dat.

30 days of Happiness: day 26, 27, 28 & 29

Finally some pictures from the market last sunday....which was, besides the stormy wind blowing everything away, great!


Great customers and blog & shop - friends along with some good sunshine and nice sales made it a happy day!


Thank you Maartje for watching my booth so I could take a little look around!! very sweet!
Day 27, 28 & 29 of ' 30 days of happiness' were spent very happy indeed...it was my birthday which was very well spent with some close friends visiting and lots of hugs and kisses from my boys, lots of very sweet presents and not to forget apple pie and a visit to the zoo.
I'll be back soon with the final day of the happiness series and a little long-ago-promised-surprise for you all!
