Bzzzz Bees

These little flowery bee-cakes we made for the kids at school for C's birthday. (the bees are edible too!)
Now the whole birthday thing is over I have some time to think about what I promised you...
a give away... Next post will be all about the give away! Have to have a little more time...

Then up to the next thing which is the fair on the 20st of april...sooo much things I want to make yet...I'm sure I can't but I'll try....by now I have made some pincushions, tissuecosies, buntings, two dolls, doll's clothes, and beanbags...want to make some bibs and more buntings...and...and...

But first I'll show you some of the fabrics I bought last sunday on a big open air fabric sale in a near town. There were about 140 stalls with fabric...it was soo hard to choose! Of course I went again for the red and whites...couldn't resist....

But I also bought some pinks...how do you like?

Erna-
These are so beautiful. I went to hancock's of Paducah yesterday and got some goodies too. It was hard to choose. I bought some yardage for you too!!!! :) It's overwhelming w/so many choices. How in the world did you choose w/so many fabric booths out there? Take plenty of pic's of all the things you've made. I'm realy interested in the dolls and doll clothes. I bought patterns to make doll clothes but haven't done that yet? Do you use patterns. Have a blessed day.

Oh I like very very much the red print (the first one) is utterly adorable. Belated birthday wishes for your little one...

Oh Erna,
Delightful! Are the bees edible? They are just so sweet...in more ways than one! Happy birthday to your boy and to his mama!
I always feel like it's such a privilege to read your posts and view these snippets of your sweet family life.
And oh, the fabrics are delicious also!
Thanks,
Iris
PS My boy is having his half birthday celebration at school today, since he is a summer baby!
